Terms and conditions

Last updated: 6 October 2026

Agreement to these terms

These terms and conditions apply to your use of Case Converter Online at caseconverteronline.com, including its pages in every language and all of the tools on it (together, the "site"). "We", "us" and "our" mean the operator of the site. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who may use the site

The site is intended for general use by people aged 13 or older. If you use the site on behalf of a company or another organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

The service

The site offers free online tools for converting, counting, cleaning, formatting, encoding and generating text. The tools run in your browser. No account is needed, and there is no paid version. We may add, change or remove tools, features and pages at any time, and we may limit or suspend access to the site, for example to carry out maintenance or to stop abuse.

Your content

You keep all rights to the text, files and images you enter in the tools, and to the results you create with them. Because the tools run on your device, your content is not sent to us and we do not claim any licence to it.

You are responsible for the content you enter and for how you use the results. Only process content that you have the right to use, and do not use the tools to handle material that is unlawful.

Acceptable use

When you use the site, you agree not to:

  • break any law or regulation, or infringe the rights of others, including copyright, trademark and privacy rights;
  • use the tools to impersonate a person or organisation, to deceive people, or to get around the rules or filters of another service;
  • try to disrupt, overload or damage the site, its hosting or its security, for example with automated requests at a volume no person could make;
  • scrape, copy or mirror the site's pages or articles in bulk, or republish them as your own;
  • interfere with the advertising on the site, such as by clicking ads on purpose to generate revenue or encouraging others to do so;
  • attempt to gain access to parts of the site or its systems that are not meant to be public.

Intellectual property

The site's design, articles, examples, code, name and logo belong to us or to our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may link to any page, quote short passages with a link back to the source, and share the results you create. You may not copy substantial parts of the site, frame it within another website, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission.

Some features use open-source software, which is provided under its own licence terms.

Advertising and third-party services

The site is free because it may show ads, which are provided by Google AdSense and its partners. The advertisers, not us, are responsible for the ads and for the products and services they promote. If you buy anything from an advertiser, the agreement is between you and that advertiser.

Some tools use third-party services to work, such as a public file delivery network that supplies the text recognition engine. The site may also link to other websites for reference. We do not control these services or websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. How data is handled by our host and our advertising partners is described in the privacy policy.

Accuracy of results

We work to keep the tools accurate, and each tool page explains the rules it follows. Automatic conversion still has limits. A case converter cannot know which words are names or brands, a citation generator can only format the details you give it, and a formatter cannot tell whether your code does what you intend. Check every result before you rely on it, especially in legal, academic, medical, financial or published work.

Nothing on the site is professional advice. Generated passwords, hashes, random numbers and QR codes are created on your device, but you are responsible for checking that they meet your own security and quality needs, for example by testing a QR code before you print it.

No warranty

The site and all tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, availability and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will be free of errors, interruptions or harmful components, or that defects will be corrected.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or business, arising from your use of the site or from your inability to use it, even if we were told such loss was possible. Because the site is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid us to use it, which is nothing.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, and if you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Indemnity

If you use the site in breach of these terms or of the law, and a third party makes a claim against us as a result, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses that we incur because of that claim, to the extent permitted by law.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what information is processed when you use the site, including cookies used for advertising, and the choices you have. It forms part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example when we add new features or when the law changes. The new version will be published on this page with a new date at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of the site is based, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep any protection given to you by the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country where the law allows.

General

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the terms remain in effect. If we do not enforce a part of these terms straight away, we can still enforce it later. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the site.
